Overview

RIIMPO337E Conduct articulated haul truck operations covers the skills and knowledge required to operate, load, haul and dump materials using an articulated haul truck in the resources and infrastructure industries. The unit includes planning and preparing for haul truck operations, conducting prestart and start-up checks, operating the haul truck in line with site requirements, loading and hauling materials, dumping materials safely, and completing shutdown, inspection and housekeeping activities.

Articulated haul trucks are used across mining, quarrying, civil construction and large-scale earthmoving operations to transport material efficiently across varied terrain and worksite conditions. RIIMPO337E Conduct articulated haul truck operations is drawn from the RII Resources and Infrastructure Industry Training Package and applies to both front and rear dumping haul trucks. Forky Stick delivers RIIMPO337E Conduct articulated haul truck operations via blended learning, combining online pre-course theory with one day of face-to-face practical training and assessment at Forky Stick’s Rockhampton facility.

On successful completion, participants receive a Statement of Attainment for RIIMPO337E Conduct articulated haul truck operations from Forky Stick Training and Safety Consultants (RTO #45802).
