Overview

RIIMPO312E Conduct scraper operations covers the skills and knowledge required to safely plan, prepare for and operate a scraper in the resources and infrastructure industries. The unit includes pre-operational checks, bulk earthmoving and material loading operations, machine relocation, operator maintenance and post-operational shutdown procedures across mining, civil construction and heavy industry environments.

Scrapers are high-capacity earthmoving machines used for cut and fill operations, bulk earthmoving and land forming across large mining and civil construction sites. This unit is drawn from the RII Resources and Infrastructure Industry Training Package and is delivered via blended learning, combining online pre-course theory with one day of face-to-face practical training and assessment at Forky Stick’s Rockhampton facility.

On successful completion, participants receive a Statement of Attainment for RIIMPO312E Conduct scraper operations from Forky Stick Training and Safety Consultants (RTO #45802).
