Overview
RIIMPO334E Conduct skid steer loader operations using attachments covers the skills and knowledge required to safely plan, prepare for and operate a skid steer loader fitted with a range of attachments in the resources and infrastructure industries. The unit includes pre-operational checks, safe operation with multiple attachment types, load shifting, machine relocation, operator maintenance and post-operational shutdown procedures across mining, civil construction and heavy industry environments.
Skid steer loaders are compact, highly manoeuvrable machines used across mining, construction, agriculture and civil works for earthmoving, material handling, trenching and site preparation tasks. Their versatility with interchangeable attachments makes this a valuable unit for plant operators across multiple industries. This unit is drawn from the RII Resources and Infrastructure Industry Training Package and is delivered via blended learning, combining online pre-course theory with one day of face-to-face practical training and assessment at Forky Stick’s Rockhampton facility.
On successful completion, participants receive a Statement of Attainment for RIIMPO334E Conduct skid steer loader operations using attachments from Forky Stick Training and Safety Consultants (RTO #45802).
This course does not result in a High Risk Work Licence. Licensing and site-specific entry requirements vary by employer, site and state, confirm requirements with your workplace before enrolling.
