Overview

RIIMPO206D Conduct bulk water truck operations covers the skills and knowledge required to safely plan, prepare for and operate a bulk water truck in the resources and infrastructure industries. The unit includes pre-start checks, loading and transporting water, dust suppression and site watering operations, monitoring water distribution, operator maintenance and post-operational shutdown procedures.

Bulk water truck operations are critical to dust management, road maintenance and environmental compliance across mining, civil construction and heavy industry sites. This unit is drawn from the RII Resources and Infrastructure Industry Training Package and is delivered via blended learning, combining online pre-course theory with one day of face-to-face practical training and assessment at Forky Stick’s Rockhampton facility.

On successful completion, participants receive a Statement of Attainment for RIIMPO206D Conduct bulk water truck operations from Forky Stick Training and Safety Consultants (RTO #45802).

This course does not result in a High Risk Work Licence. A heavy vehicle driver’s licence may be required to operate a water truck on public roads, confirm requirements with your employer or the relevant authority before enrolling.
