Overview
CPC30720 Certificate III in Rigging reflects the role of individuals working in rigging and dogging in the building and construction industry. The qualification includes units of competency covering common skills and knowledge for the building and construction industry, as well as those specific to the occupations of rigger and dogger. Due to the high-risk nature of the job role, the qualification provides a strong focus on safety.
This qualification is suited to individuals seeking to work as riggers or doggers across construction, civil and engineering environments. Delivered via blended learning, combining face-to-face practical sessions with online distance components, participants develop the hands-on and theoretical skills required to perform rigging work safely and in compliance with all relevant legislative and licensing requirements.
