Overview

TLILIC0020 Licence to operate a slewing mobile crane (over 100 Tonnes) covers the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a slewing mobile crane with a maximum rated capacity over 100 tonnes in accordance with legislative and workplace requirements. The unit includes planning the work task, preparing for the work task, performing crane operations, and packing up the crane after completing work.

A slewing mobile crane is a mobile crane incorporating a boom or jib that can be slewed and is used across mining, construction, shutdowns, heavy industry and infrastructure projects for complex lifting operations. TLILIC0020 Licence to operate a slewing mobile crane (over 100 Tonnes) applies to operators performing high risk crane work in large-scale lifting environments where safe planning, setup, load handling and shutdown are critical.

Forky Stick delivers TLILIC0020 Licence to operate a slewing mobile crane (over 100 Tonnes) through face-to-face training and assessment using suitable crane equipment and practical workplace-based instruction.

On successful completion, participants receive a Statement of Attainment for TLILIC0020 Licence to operate a slewing mobile crane (over 100 Tonnes) from Forky Stick Training and Safety Consultants (RTO #45802).

Successful completion of TLILIC0020 Licence to operate a slewing mobile crane (over 100 Tonnes) does not itself grant a High Risk Work Licence. Learners who successfully complete the mandated High Risk Work Licence assessment may apply to the regulator for the CO High Risk Work Licence.
