Overview

CPCCLRG3002 Licence to perform rigging intermediate level covers the skills and knowledge required to safely perform rigging work at the intermediate level. This unit builds on basic rigging and includes rigging of cranes, conveyors, dredges and excavators, rigging associated with tilt slabs, demolition work, and dual lifts. Riggers use mechanical load shifting equipment and associated gear to move, place or secure loads, and ensure the stability of structures, plant and equipment on site.

This unit is suited to workers in construction, mining and infrastructure who hold a Basic Rigging (RB) licence and are looking to progress to intermediate-level rigging work. Delivered via blended learning, combining online theory with face-to-face practical sessions, participants develop the skills required to perform intermediate rigging safely and in compliance with all relevant legislative and licensing requirements.

On successful completion, participants receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for CPCCLRG3002 Licence to perform rigging intermediate level from Forky Stick Training and Safety Consultants (RTO #45802).

Licensing and regulatory information: This is a licensed occupation. Competence in this unit does not in itself result in a licence.
